Why get a replica 190 SLR instead of the real deal? Well, because none of the genuine 190 SLRs are known to have survived.

The next best thing? How about one of only three 190 SLs converted to SLR specifications by the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center?

When Mercedes-Benz Classic acquired the 190 SL in 2007, a previous owner had already begun the process of converting the car to SLR specs.

As opposed to more pedestrian 190 SL models, this SLR features no adjustments for climate control nor a radio. A cutdown front windshield and lightweight doors complete the look.

The 190 is also accompanied by Halda Speedpilot rally computer and a black tonneau cover.

Find this 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190SL SLR for sale from Classic Motorcars for $325,000.
