Imagine going to rent a car, only to realize that it’s the same car your neighbor, who you are constantly trying to outdo, drove just a few months earlier. Well, that’s pretty much the story behind this OSCA 750S.

Driven by John Fulp and David Cunningham under the NART banner, this very 750S competed in the 1960 Sebring 12-hour race alongside another 750S driven by John Bentley and Jack Gordon.

In the end, it would be the car driven by Bentley and Gordon that would secure the class win, with Fulp and Cunningham’s car finishing second in class.

Bentley and Gordon would go on to enter the 1960 Le Mans 24 but ran short on time and were unable to properly prepare their 750S for the race. Luckily, they were able to rent a 750S from NART.

To their surprise, their rental was, in fact, the very same car that they competed against at Sebring just a few months earlier. The 750S would end up securing a podium finish in the 850cc class.

Today, the OSCA retains its original engine and has been actively raced in the SCCA by its current owner.
