This 1965 Shelby GT350 started its life as a public relations car, giving the public its first glimpse of the storied model up close. Its next owner then converted it to Shelby’s R specifications.

This example has a roll bar and a race-ready engine, though is registered for street use and retains both front seats.

Vintage race specialists Cobra Automotive restored the car to FIA Historic and HMSA standards. After its restoration, it made its debut at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in 2015.

Find this 1965 Shelby GT350 available from Broad Arrow Auctions, with an expected selling price of $350,000-$400,000.
