Jim Kimberly made his mark in racing as both a racer in–and eventually president of–the SCCA. Along his extensive career in motorsport, he became the first owner of this 1957 Maserati 200SI and competed with it in period.
This 200SI is the 12th of 28 examples made by Maserati. It’s one of the few that still retains its period-correct 2-liter engine.
The Maserati’s current owner has had it for 14 years. The car comes with documentation that includes a copy of the factory build sheet, period photos, prior bill of sale and service invoices dating back to 1993.
