The Lotus Elise might be one of the last analog sports cars on the market, but this one is a little extra special thanks to a supercharger.

This Elise also comes fitted with the Touring Package that adds creature comforts like additional sound deadening and an upgraded stereo system.

The seller notes that the car comes with a rebuilt title because of damage to the fiberglass body–which has been professionally repaired, per the seller.

Find this 2005 Lotus Elise for sale from Wirewheel.com for $39,900.

Of the over 50 various "sports cars" (including Ferrari 308, Maserati Mistral, Jag XK-E) I've had over my life-time, I can genuiely say that the Lotus Elise has been THE most smile-inducing, fun to drive! The Mazda Miata made you think you were going fast, the Elise tells you that you can drive even faster around that corner. Total laugh riot vehicle!

Glad to hear you liked it so much. If I ever have the means and the space, I'm definitely buying an Elise. I think it's an excellent package that seems to work pretty well.

And how often do you see them on the road?
