Own a striking Red-Orange example of the first automobile designed specifically for the World Rally Championship, the Lancia Stratos HF.

The first owner of this example lost control of it in 1976, hit a tree and irreparably damaged the chassis. A Lancia dealer rebuilt the vehicle on a new chassis, though the rebuilt chassis didn’t bear a serial number until it was reinspected in 1977, when it was numbered No. 51921/76.

Featuring styling by Bertone’s Marcello Gandini and a mid-mounted, 190-horsepower Ferrari V6, the Stratos is one of only 492 examples ever built.

Find this 1975 Lancia Stratos HF available from RM Sotheby’s with an expected selling price of $600,000-$700,000.
