If you’re looking for a solid project car that runs and drives, this backdated 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce might fit the bill.

The chrome-bumpered Alfa comes with a ’68 Duetto dash; “very nice” black top; “nice” black seats; Dell’Orto carbs on a Euro manifold; Crane ignition; new motor mounts and trailing arm bushings; stiffer, shorter springs, with Konis; and “great” tires on 14-inch Campagnolo wheels. The floors are even solid.

Why is it a project? The second gear synchro is “pretty tired,” requiring you to double clutch. However, the seller adds that it’s “fun to drive, sounds great and [gets] a thumbs-up from everyone.”

Find this 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Project for sale on our forums, with an asking price of $7000.
