If perfect is your objective, then this Jaguar E-type deserves consideration. It is a three-time 100-point Jaguar Club of North America national champion.

The E-type spent nearly four decades in the hands of the same family, residing in classic-car-friendly California for that time, too.

In the late 2000s, the Jaguar underwent a comprehensive rotisserie restoration by marque specialists Classic Showcase. The E-type has also won at a few concours events and was displayed at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Jaguar’s corporate display.

Find this 1966 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2-Litre Roadster up for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $250,000-$300,000.
