Okay, don’t dismiss this one, yet. It’s a 1954 Chevrolet Corvette. Yes, it’s been turned into a pickup a la El Camino style. However, George Prentice, a member of the GM Design and Styling team, designed this one.

William Mullaly, manager at the General Motor Design and Styling Center, liked it enough to buy it. It remained with him until he sold it to its designer, Prentice. he owned it from 1970 to 2023.

It’s billed in “highly original condition,” with one repaint applied in 1975. It underwent a comprehensive rebuild of the engine, rear end, carburetors and radio from 2019 to 2023.

Find this 1954 Chevrolet Corvette Pickup for auction at Mecum.
