Paul Walker didn’t just play a car enthusiast in the “Fast & Furious” movie franchise. He lived that life, amassing a notable collection before his 2013 death.

Among the projects he had waiting in the wings: this 1969 Camaro Z28 fitted with the optional Rally Sport package.

What makes it special? Less than 23,000 miles on the clock, a numbers-matching drivetrain and, as an early build, no rear spoiler or cowl induction hood.

Find this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28 for auction at Mecum, with an estimated value of $145,000-$165,000.

I think the patina is perfect (if perfect patina can even be a thing).

Keep the 'patina' !  I already walk by enough glossy, over-restored Camaros at shows.

Sold for $220,000. I guess the new owner will have to decide what to do with it.
