Another year has come.
I hear ya. A week ago I was thinking maybe this year, after 34 years, I would sell the MGB GT at Ancaster.
Brought her out on Sunday and all such thoughts are gone!
Yeah every once in a while I think. I don't drive the GT6 nearly enough. I could sell it and buy a truck for the racing thing....
NOT A chance. ;)
A.
Yup. Plus, I think a bunch of us would cross the border to slap you up side the head.
I had serious seller's remorse when I sold my Spit 6 - and that car wasn't anywhere near as nice as the GT6 I have now - so I don't see the Triumph leaving my garage any time soon. Same goes for the g/f's 1800ES (8 years this Fall).
Her Spitfire, on the other hand, she keeps dropping hints about selling. It's now the middle of April and it still sits under a cover in the garage. Maybe she'll feel different after the '07 MINI is sold and she drives it again. Personally, I have waaaaay too much of my own blood invested into that car (literally) to let it go.
Yep! I've had a mutually abusive relationship with my Mustang since I drove it home for $250.00 in 1981: Can't really imagin life without it.
Dave, don't post pictures like that when I drive past a number of crusty 60's Mustangs every day... I get evil thoughts.

Hee! I LOVE being a bad influence!
I hear you. My Fiat has not been repainted since 1995 or so and I have owned it for 13 years. I am beginning to replace parts that were first done 12 years ago and it is not as satisfying the second time to change those pesky a-arm bushings. I still drive it as my weekend car and will take it to Hallett vintage races this weekend.
Cheers Ron
Great shots!
Here's me in mine 39 years ago (at Bridgehampton).
I'll be racing at New Hampshire in 3 weeks.

My friend Dave has a TR-3 he bought in high school. He has a picture of his daughter standing up in the seat sawing the steering wheel. At the time she said "I can have this when I'm big".
She's 22 now and remembers that ......
I keep playing the "your feet will be too wide and you'll be too tall" card on my son.
Not sure if that will pan out

11 yr old son is looking nice more than car
Andre,
I tried using the "contact" link but it seems to have failed.
Have you tried fitting the 124 wheels on the GT6? I'm curious if they fit. I found some wheels I'm interested in, but they're for a 124 but I noticed the bolt pattern is really close.
Thanks
Bummer... oh well... the search continues... Thanks.
So close... not even 1.5mm at each lug... I wonder if wobble-nuts could work...

Great photos - please hang onto that car!
AndreGT6 wrote: Just don't bore them out ok ;) I have a nice set of slotted rims for sale!
Not really fond of slotted rims...
No matter... they ended up selling for $851. ...plus, I would have had to figure out how to get them north (with tires) from Daytona... Granted, that's still better than the $320/ea Moss sells them for.
So the search continues...
