True believers, a friend gave me an Anglia (no engine) that is ready to break in half, and a 65 MGB (with title) with no drive train...actually its a roller. The body is resorable (needs pans and some other TLC).
Im going to take the few switches of the cars that work and take them to the scrap yard unless somebody wants them, or even just parts. All I want is shipping cost.
What year is the Anglia? I assume it's in West Virginia.
You assume correct, I have no idea....LOL
The body is all but gone. I think the roof is the only thing keeping the car together.
What type of rear axle is in the MGB?
On an early car like that, it's probably a Banjo rear end, the more common Salisbury (tube-type) rear axle didn't show up until '67 I think.

I love race-prepped vintage Anglias. They're very rare here, but I was at a vintage race weekend in May, 2002 or 2003 at Brands Hatch, and there were a bunch of them there. I loved watching them race. Very cool cars, with their odd reverse angle C-pillar styling and Kent engines. But it appears that this one is beyond resurrection. Too bad.
In reply to Gary:
The 1300 cc Ford Anglias were fast. In the day, Broadspeed in the UK raced them against the works mini 1275 S and often beat them

Does anyone have contact info for Leo? Tried two direct emails and two posts here: silence.
"Does anyone have contact info for Leo?"
Unfortunately, considering his age, high stress job, and the extra weight that he's carrying judging by his profile picture . . . there's a very good chance that he had an indecent with his heart and has died.
HA...I dont die off that easy!

Leo,
I always heard the good die young and the real crabs hang on forever. If that is true, you and I have a long future yet!!
