There is a lot of classics that could be a nice contender for this kind of conversion. Ones with a so-so stock engine. Like a Citroen DS, Triumph TR7, etc or not big dollar value like a Corvair but an Aston Martin with a lusty and powerful (for the era) straight six? Seems odd. At least they built it to be reversible.
