Been a while since I posted any progress on the bugeye restoration. This is a car I tried to submit for the "Ran When Parked" section 6 years ago! Proof that some of those make it back on the road (or at least I expect it to!)

Put the engine back in last week. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2203663/11

It's looking good, keep up the work!

You'll be driving it in no time.

That's awesome! Pictures and stories like yours gives me hope that I'll be able to bring my crusty 1800ES back to life. My g/f doesn't know it, but she hates you.

Ian:

She does not know the half of it yet!

Ever hear about the guy who walked across the US/Canadian border pushing a wheelbarrow full of dirt every day for 30 years. Customs was positive he was smuggling something but could never find anything. What they did not realize is that he was smuggling wheelbarrows!

In the same vein, under the auspices of restoring this poor Bugeye, I have managed to spend the better part of 100k on a new shop and tools to do metalwork. All under the radar of the commandant!
