I just took a minute break to check out Daniel Stein's site: http://www.autophotopia.com

Wow, nice images--artistically done photos of our favorite classics. I love the use of black and white, too. The '63 Bonneville is cool, and I admit that I'm a big fan of early Pontiacs.

So, when it comes to car art, what's your poison?

The prints are a bit pricey but very classy. I have one of Moss and Gurney on the podium at the Nurburgring where they won the 1000km race there in 1960 in a Birdcage Maserati. (And I was able to have both Moss and Gurney sign it ... with photos to authenticate it).

Great Choices!

I also love Hector Cadematori's art. He has done our Mitty posters for the last few years, and also the art for our CMS t-shirts: http://www.authorsandartists.com/Hector/HC-thumbs.htm

Steve Petrosky also does some neat stuff and will render a photo of your car into a cool drawing: http://www.driversroad.com/artwork.html

I'm a sucker for cool car art. Now I just need to frame it all!

The only framed car art I have is the most recent Mitty poster. It came in the magazine and I like the way it looked so it now hangs in my basement game area.

I love the photos that are candid, black and white, of the years before nomex and over the top sponsor decals all over the car. You know, the photos that makes you feel like you were 12 again and all you wanted was to be that guy with the raccoon face because of the goggles.

I have framed 8x10s in my family room that a niece took. She's an amateur photographer and doesn't know beans about cars, but they're very nice pictures of rusting wrecks in Manitoba fields.I love them, and more importantly so does my wife, so they hang in a prominent place without being too "man cave" in nature.
