Question?? What motor was used in 1972?? And who built the BDG that's in her now??

The listing doesn't specifically say what engine was in the car in 1972 besides mentioning that the T212 was "typically outfitted with the Ford Cosworth FVC engine."
To answer your second question, I also pulled this from the listing: "Currently the car is outfitted with a two-liter BDG engine with an aluminum nikasil block built by S. Jennings. The build for this motor included the very best available including a round tooth cam drive, light flywheel, rods, and crank, a billet distributor with MSD ignition, and a Jennings billet engine adaptor."
I hope that helps.
