Very nice high tech (for the time) SOHC small V8, although there was also a later 2.0 version and 3.0 edition used in later models and a DOHC 3.5 version as well.
A client (a mechanic) once bought a Uracco because it was leaking oil and the owner was afraid of the repair costs. A new crankcase ventilation system later it ran just dandy. They weren't termendously fast with 220 bhp hauling a ton and a half, but at least they equalled the performance of a V6 Fiero made around 15 years later (something the Ferrari Dino failed to do - but then it was so pretty it didn't have to beat anything to attract fans.
