had a great time at Carlisle this weekend. I thought the show rocked and the weather stayed pretty awesome except for a little rain Saturday night. Found most of the parts I was looking for, but somehow couldn't find a 13" steering wheel that I liked for Tommy's Spitfire. Did find a bitchin set of Lotus Europa eight spoke alloy wheels for $300 (set) that will fit the Spitfire and look real nice. Best find of the weekend was Gary's bear head. I am sure Tom or David can post a picture. My two favorite events on the east coast are Classic Motorsports Mitty and Import Carlisle. Took high-brow, auction boy, Andy Reid with us for the first time and he declared Import Carlisle one of the best events he had ever been to.

We had a good time as well, although we only made it out for Sat. Hopefully next year we'll make a w/e out of it again. And can bring the Spitfire rather than the E30. Just need to convince the g/f that a little rain ain't the end of the world...

I was a little disappointed at the vendor turn-out. I was hoping to find some E30 bits, but there wasn't much to be had. Lots of cars in the car corral, tho.... The green Europa for ~$6k had me drooling...
