Hello, all:

I have been contacted by a gentleman wishing to hire a large classic car for half a day to take his daughter and some family members to his daughter's wedding.

Here's the brief:

I [am asking you] to connect me to someone who could assist me with obtaining a car for my daughter’s wedding on June 15, 2024.

I am seeking the owner to chauffeur my wife and two daughters from Leola to [...] Church in Lancaster (~ 5 miles).  Then, the owner will drive my daughter and son-in-law from [...] to Leola.

My wife and I were thinking of a 1940s or a 1950s car with a big back seat to fit the bride (in her wedding dress) and the groom.  A DeSoto or a Chevy / Buick / Pontiac, etc. could work.

The time of the transportation will be ~ 2 hours (~ 12:45 pm – 2:45 pm).

We will pay for the owner / chauffeur to drive back and forth from the hotel to the church.

He specifically mentions a few cars but he is open to anything large and vintage.  I connected him with a 1934 Packard owner, but the travel distance was too long.

If anyone is interested, please PM me and I will put you in touch.  Thanks!

Duke, there are a few good classic hot rod shops in Lancaster.  One being Quality Custom Rides, owner is mike heim.  I used to work for him.  They actually did that several times.  Offered cars for weddings, a 33 plymouth, a buick riveria, the 48 studebaker as well.  Idk if he still offers it.

I'm not sure how far they go, but this company is run by some friends/alums of GRM and seems like a perfect fit:
