Up front I'm going to admit that I'm a card carrying certified Anglophile. Almost anything the British do is fine by me. Especially the Royal family. I positively worship Queen Elizabeth ( The Jury is still out on that newcomer, her son)

Certain American cars which have properly tested the quality of their metal At LeMans too have my grudging respect.
However I cannot forget that a mere 80 some years ago we fought with certain axis powers and while they too have sent certain makes and achieved great things my respect is moderated by the politics of 80 years ago.
Now we come to the French, Sigh!!
Bugatti? They show what great things the French are capable of but really! 3 lug nuts per wheel instead of proper wire wheels with Rudge knock offs? Unforgivable.
