Do you run an event topic

Next week from May 1 to 3 I will organize MOFLO and run the Roamin' Chariots/Fiat Lancia Unlimited car event for Fiats and Lancias in the Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas areas.

We have a meet and greet BBQ on Friday with registration and coffee around the cars each morning. A local dam tour and drive on Saturday is planned and then a show and shine in the afternoon with a dinner on Saturday evening. Night caps around the resort ends a long day.

We have been doing this since 1999 mostly as a gathering of old and new friends who live rather far apart. Our numbers are from 15 to 30 participants and each gets their own reservations and meals at a common spot to simplify organization to a club with no dues.

I get to meet everyone and enjoy their cars.

I am curious what others do. In particular the smaller gatherings that we don't read about.

Our car gathering went very well. We had about 20 cars and 30 people. Most were older Fiat Spiders but a few new Fiat 500's joined us. The local Fiat dealer also showed up for test drives. Someone suggested social media advertising but then it might get too big and require some real organization. Small is good.
