'69 Z-28.  Convinced both of my college roommates to get one (none for me as I was on scholarship).

I wanted a 1967  SS  when I graduated from College  in 1970

I was gettting married and my Father in Law "  Convinced " Me that I have to get a "family " car and I ended up getting a Chevy Impalla.  I am still longing for that 1st generation Corvette !!!!

I still remember that one of our camp counselors drove an early Firebird–not a ’69 but either a ’67 or ’68. It was blue. At the time, it was all the coolness. (He was pretty cool, too.)
