Diving both feet in to Vintage racing and I'm trying to locate a copy of the FIA Homologation papers for a Group 2 BMW 2002 Tii. The homologation number is 1620 issued on 1st July 1971. Anyone know of a purveyor of this sort of nonsense?

you might try the guy (BrianC) listed in the last post of this thread - http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/42682-fia-homologation-papers/

this also looks good - http://tech-racingcars.wikidot.com/bmw-2002-ti

In reply to oldeskewltoy:

Actually, they have Homologation papers listed but nobody seems to have the 1969 version #1550. I can get the 1971 version number 5331 so may have to go in that direction Cost is $200 (yikes!)

Go Here ACCUS if you want a set. They are directly connected to the FIA but apparently the #1550 papers are lost somehow.

Got a set from another contact. Sorry ACCUS, I'll put that $200 to the upgrade of my Race Car.

BTW, I'll be happy to share them with any other BMW 2002 Vintage racer who needs them. Just ping me.
