Our Elva came to us missing not just its engine but its carburetors, too. We again turned to Mike Pierce, now of Weber Carburetor Restoration, for the correct info.

Mike should know.

I have seen some older sports racers using (original) DCO series carbs rather than DCOE (the Climax FPF used 58DCO) but can't recall if all the early Lotus, Cooper etc. had DCOEs.

I sourced a used matching set of 40 DCOEs for my little 2002 from Greece, and rebuilt them with help from Pierce Manifolds, Ireland Engineering, Top End Performance, and filtering from RamAir!
