Was doing some check after a very awesome drive on Tuesday. The new fuel pump turned the GT6 into a raging beast.

But looks like I ran into a screw. Driver front. I hope they can plug it.

Mounted the 13" tires but they are touching in the rear. The tires are 185/70-13. All wrong.

Grrr I wanted to go for a good drive.

Looks to me like a classic example of a puncture that can be plugged. As I understand it, holes near the edge or ones that are too large are the problem.

Andre, make sure they plug/patch it from the inside. From the outside, it's a cheap and easy fix. Inside, more reliable.

I'll see what they say when I bring it in.

Wish the 13's would have worked out.

I could have driven this weekend.

Andre.

Andre... of all the tools you've bought over the years, you don't have a plug kit? We keep at least one in each car. I have really nice ones with metal T-handles I bought at a swap meet, but even the cheap ones from your FLAPS will do the job.

Bought the kit. $12 later I have a working tire again.

Up and onward.

A little while ago, a friend and I were working on my car.

"Hey, you have a nail in your tire!" he yelled.

"Oh wait, it's just a little, round piece of trash."

Whew.

I got lucky on this one. No sidewall.
