Bob Tullius (founder of Group 44 Racing) has moved to nearby Port Orange. At 86, he is doing quite well, and just quit flying planes earlier this year.
I am working on a comparison story of his Group 44 GT6 and Kas Kastner’s competing GT6. I drove both cars recently and also spent and hour on the phone with Kas the other day. I think you guys will really like this story, if I can boil two very interesting lifetimes into just one story.

Yes bring it.....for some reason I thought Bob T had passed, but obviously not.
I think that story would be a great tribute to both and a significant historical reference for many.

I didn't know him in the day, but have gotten to know him pretty well in the last ten years. He has the reputation of having been a tyrant. He has mellowed with age, but his attention to detail is still spot on. He turned 86 this year and just quite flying on his own earlier this year.

I've never heard he was a tyrant, but I don't find that surprising. Many successful people are. Did he sell his Mustang (I mean the real Mustang).
I always dug that 66 Dart he raced at the beginning of Trans-Am.
He donated his P51 Mustang to a museum in England.
