i hope they dont put some restrictions on some of the cars. back around 1999-2000 they had a late november open house run what you brung race! a lot of GTP IMSA cars of the 1980s 1990s, they where fast, but the Stars of the show, where the late 1960s-1974 Can-AM and F5000 cars, most with upgraded BRAKES and tires and wheels(modern tech), of course those antique BBC Chevys, upgraded with 20+ yrs of tech, puttin out over 1000-1200 HP, wher just out of control, 22" wide soft rubber modern tires, comin out of the Horseshoe, layin down 300' black streaks!

a great show, untill the powers that be, said no more of that nonsense, anyone over the insurance speed limits o 250MPH cant qualify for race, rumors wher Can AMs where hitting 255-260 on the Daytona back strech! we shall see what goes legal with todays cars!
