I saw this and figured I'd post it here in case anyone was interested. I'd sure like to have one of these, but it's too far away and I can't handle any more cars.

If they would slide the decimal place to the left a space or two, I'd be all over it.
Nice find. I don't know as much as I'd like to about the Iso, but they are gorgeous!
That is a neat car, driven a few. Italian design and American power.
They are worth 25-40K and are a great value.
There is one part of this car I'd like an answer to: who built the roller crank for the small block? Herth(sp) built such cranks for Porsche, but I've never seen or heard of such a crankshaft for a Chevy small block. If so, I'd be interested in finding out who and for how long. That aside, I think the car might be sold in the high 20s, low 30s. It's 11/12 at 11:05, so I don't know where the bidding is. But, a roller crank, IMO, if it's there, would add to the allure of the car.
Thanks, just curious. I see it's met reserve and is at $25k+. Cool car. I'm thinking the seller meant to say roller cam, not crank, but that's just a hunch, and it would have had to have been added sometime in the 90's or later.
In reply to bravenrace: I was thinking along those lines, too, after posting. Or it's roller rockers.
Does anyone know of someone building a small block with a roller crank? Just wondering what it was in and why.
I know Porsche fitted theirs for LeMans, so the cars wouldl have a better chance of finishing should there be a problem--as this was in the days when you could NOT add oil to the engine at all once the race started.
No one in their right mind would use a roller crank on a SBC. I'm pretty sure he meant cam.
He has fixed one of the shortcomings of these cars - the relatively low revving V8 coupled to a 4 speed transmission which always compromised top gear performance and usually crusing capability (no one wants to be doing 100 MPH and have the engine sound like it is about to claw its way out of the engine compartment).
The Rivolta was a decent car and it sold for about what I figured. The one that turns my crank was the Grifo, but much bigger bucks.
As the owner of 2 big Jensens and a Lambo, I am a pretty big fan of long legged touring GT cars!
