Sounds a bit like George Washington's axe.
No, this is not turning into George Washington's axe. I am using most of the original body, some of the original frame and just collected some of the missing stuff. The car came with a clear title and since it hasn't been touched since 1978, what wasn't smashed is very original and unmolested and not even in that bad of shape.
The engine and trans and differential are also original to the car
One of the main elements of any restoration is the sourcing of parts, many unobtainable. Looks like your well on you way Tim!
