You know I've been blessed with actually seeing this car in person, at the 2010 Georgia Tech Autoshow, I knew exactly what it was when I saw it and was most impressed. I didn't know that many of the Euro-spec details had been done to this particular example (as covered in the article) but man-o-man was it nice. I don't have great pictures of it, but hopefully the owner is on here and can chime in:

For anyone in the Atlanta area on April 2nd this year (2011), the show is a blast because it's just a bunch of gear-heads, car-enthusiasts, builders, tinkerers, drivers, engineers all basking in the glory of the automobile. I've been to 3 out of the last 4 and it's never the same.

I've heard a lot of good things about that show. Someday, the stars will line up just right and I'll make it up.

I imagine that Maserati has an absolutely glorious sound. I'd love to hear it!

In reply to Tom Heath:

You know it's funny, I didn't get to hear it, but the driver's side window was cracked and (while this may sound weird) I got to smell it, it was great! Something you have to experience in person to appreciate I guess...

In reply to Raze: Hey Raze, Thanks for the compliments on the Maser. I've had it a little over a year and have enjoyed every minute of it. Good performance, comfortable and great to look at. I'm waiting for my March issue of Classic MS so I can see the article. We shot it in September at Monteluce Winery outside of Dawsonville and I've been waiting ever since.

I really enjoy the Tech show because of all the different types of cars that attend. Plus they always have great presenters. Hope to see ya there this year.

Awesome! I don't think you'll be disappointed by the article, it was a great spread, and excellent write-up. Do you have any more pictures of the rebuild process, I see a couple in your garage but any more would be cool! Also, the articles only had a couple of the interior, do you have any big large sized pics of it? I hope to hear your car this year as that was the only thing I didn't get to partake in of it!

I too hope to see the car again this year. It's funny but even at the GT show many people have no idea how rare this car is and tha's a shame. I'll be there for sure, either with the Fiat or the XR4Ti.

In reply to Raze: Jeff, I have some other shots of the restoration I'll try to find and post. I didn't have the restoration done, it was done in NY about 7 years ago but still shows very well. The interior was completely re-done at the same time. The car then went to a little town NE of San Fran for a few years and I became the proud owner in Nov. of '09.

Rick,

I remember now reading the resto was done some time ago, would be cool if they gave you any/all pics from the process because the couple you have up show a full tear-down to bare metal.

Other questions I have are, how often do you drive it? Do you like it better cruising or on back road/twisties? Have you ever taken it to Cars and Coffee up in Alpharetta/Johns Creek?

Jeff, The car is really a GT so it works best at speed on longer hwy trips. It's a little heavy for the real twisties and the Machelins might have been good in there day but they squirm like a defendent caught in a lie when the road starts winding. If I need a mountain adrenaline rush I'll take the F355. I brought it to the C&O in East Cobb a couple of times and I will be going to the new venue by Northpoint Mall as soon as the weather permits.
