so i live in alaska and own a volvo 122 its a 2dr with a b18 and dual su carbs but it will only runn for 45 seconds beafore fouling the plugs up so do i just need to adjust the carbs me and my gramps are going to try adjusting the carbs and see how she runs o she also came with the stock jack in the trunk.

Unscrew the top off your carbs and see if they need oil in them. It may be more complicated than adjusting.

If you dont see oil when you unscrew the top it needs some. It will only take about a shot glass to fill up,or less. In Alaska use a very thin oil, 20wt.

Neat car. Its time to buy a Haynes Manual or similar.

Also a good time to remove the carbs for a good cleaning and rebuild.

Sometimes you can get too much fuel pressure and fuel will bubble up and out of the SU, into the cylinder...causing fowling. What kind of fuel pump are you running?
