Been slamming away. Thanks, Rennie, Gary, Jere and JK for helping. I'll get some project car updates to Per and Tom this weekend, but to let you guys know what is going on.
In the last month, we have built a 390 engine fo the Edsel wagon, fixed the Corvair driveline, and added a Weber kit, gotten Margie's BMW battery drain solved. Damned trunk light switch just needed to be adjusted. it is always the simple stuff.
Got the big brake kit finished on the Tiger. Now she stops as well as she goes.
Got the TR3 ready to race at Mid Ohio later this month.
Got the clutch fixed on the M3.
I just got the OEM rocker panels for the Fiat and the replacement window seals. Ordered the electronic ignition from a Lancia Zagato, which is a bolt on for the early 1438 engine.
I will be installing the distributor and window seals this weekend and then we go to the bodyshop to spend way too much money.
In reply to Tim Suddard:
Man, you guys sure have all the fun!
Hey Tim, I'm going to be at Mid-Ohio for the vintage races also. I've always wanted to meet you in person, so maybe I'll find you this time. The Griffith club is having their annual Griffith-TVR gathering that weekend, so I'll be hanging out with them when not watching the racing or looking you up. What class and when are your races?
Jim
