I have driven by this car for years, but its in a spot that is hard to stop safely to photograph. I made some mental notes on my last pass, and on the return trip, I had a strategy. I wouldn't get any closer than I did, and the first picture explains why. Its a very unattractive little part of the world, and the poor 914 looks like it has been mowed around for years. I know for sure I have seen it for three.
Oh well, a ran when parked (?) submission at any rate. Sorry for the poor quality, but like I said, its as close as I get.
As good as I can make it:

A sad end for a once proud classic... Solid effort on the pics though Matt. Cheers, Scott
It's interesting.....the lawn is all mowed neatly around it.
Here is an MGA (I think a 1600) that I saw a while back.
It was located just down the street from the Rutgers football stadium here in NJ, so I'm sure a zillion people have seen it.
It has since disappeared (hope it's being "saved").
I always wondered if some of these cars are just loaded onto trailers in the dead of night in some sort of rescue by an enthusiast. By the looks of the neglect I'm sure some of these land owners might be relieved that they're gone.
So, um, why aren't you all submitting these in "Ran When Parked?"

Oh, how many times I have thought about doing that! Maybe that is why I have never bought a trailer - because I would and then I would get caught then I would spend time in jail then I would have to sell my cars to pay for a lawyer.

Woops, Ok I'll do that when I get home!
And don't forget to e-mail the high-resolution versions to me. I'm always looking for Ran When Parked submissions for the magazine.
Actually, if you upload a high-res version, you don't have to email it. We'll have it.
