I recently came across this Alfa ad on Craigslist and wondered if anyone ever followed up on the Ran When Parked cars? http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1629838834.html

I have always enjoyed seeing the forgotten cars as they return to the earth. It is a sad but natural reality that gives them an almost human quality. How many of you have followed up on the ran when parked cars? Share some of the stories if you will. Brett

This guy lists quite a few cars in the Columbia, SC area. Usually pretty highly priced. No idea if he will dicker.

"Only $2500"? I think his keyboard might have a sticky '0' key even for something like a 2600 spider which is quite rare

I thought so too. I doubt that one even ran when parked. Sad to see it return to the earth like that. Brett

I don't care what kind of car it was, once the interior matches the surrounding forest floor, it's pretty much done as a car.

Nice to see it's still got window glass. And the cinder block on the trunk lid's a nice touch, too. Worked for two different Alfa dealers and never saw a 2600 in the steel, BTW...
