One of my objectives for winter is to have the Jaeger speedo and tach in the Spitfire reconditioned. Anybody have any experience with a good repair shop for these gauges?

I have heard Porsche people recommend these two firms. I have not done business with either. Caveat emptor. YMMV

The local British car club here had a good article about fixing them yourself in this month's newsletter. Mine are Jaeger also and my speedomoeter is off by about 5 mph at 55 mph

These guys have done all my gauge work. Always done right, price depends on the extent of the work required.

I procrastinated for a few months but finally shipped my Spitfire’s speedo and tach off to Nisongers a few weeks ago. They estimated a 4-week turnaround and that’s just about how long it took. The gauges came back to me yesterday in beautiful condition. They’re a bit pricey but I’m satisfied with the results.

Nisonger did the GT6 gauges. They do good work.
