Wacky lost interest in racing when one of his drivers died during the Sebring 12 Hour race . The Arnolt Bristol team ran three cars that year.

during the scca convention in chicago in '62 there was an ad for 2 or 3 arnolt bodies. we looked at them in a warehouse; they'd been used for target practice and had a couple bullet holes in the doors. i can't remember what they were asking for them
