So for our anniversary my wife got me a pretty sweet Craftsman set. Never owned one before.
To be honest I restored most of the GT6 using a little Mastercraft set my parents gave to me one xmas after I bought my first car.
Over the years I've gone after the "special" wrenches, rackets and items I've broken. Done pretty good, but this set is kick ass.
I've used Mastercraft from Canadian Tire mainly because they are close to home, but sears is never far away either.
Now to figure out where to put it... Darn case is huge, but I do think this one will be part of the race day hardware I bring.
Shucks.

You are one lucky man! Your wife buys you a present for your anniversary!!! Must be a Canadian thing.
Yeah... Its been a good month.
I guess her logic is she'll know where I am hehe.

Not bad! My wife knows better then to buy me tools unless it is something I have asked for, then she goes over and above.
My tools are a mix but my favorites are my Snap-On tools. When I made my living repairing bicycles I purchased a lot of Snap-On. Now, I find that I buy Craftsman since it is easier to return broken tools. I like the feel of my Snap-On wrenches and handles better, but they are spendy.
Yeah she suffers from the same issue.
Never knows what to buy me. I have everything, but she did well on this one.
Of course now I tell everyone in the family that my FIF is all I'm interested in.

Damn safety gear will cost more then the car ;)
I won a Crescent tool set at an Xmas party raffle. It stows flat in the trunk, so it doesn't take up much room.
It's funny, when I was a poor student I could afford Snap-on tools. I have a complete set of 3/8' drive and combination wrenches in SAE, Metric and Whitworth. Their cost has greatly exceeded inflation though and I just can't justify paying what they are asking for Snap-on tools now.
My 1/2" drive stuff is Stanley, and my 3/4" drive & 1" drive stuff is Pittsburgh (Harbor Freight)
