I was out today with the top down. I took the 19 year old Miata to the dentist and tag agency. I flossed the license plate and put a new sticker on my teeth. The sun was warm, the air cool (57F) and my toes warm with the heater. It was the best driving in months of being too hot. This bodes well for my upcoming fall run on the Talimena highway.

Yeah, it's getting a little cool here in Florida, meaning that convertible weather is (finally) here.

The Fall run to the Talimena Highway was in perfect convertible weather. Mid seventies temperatures combined with plenty of sun. The tops stayed down as we cruised through the hills and over ridges. There were car shows in the area and other cruises. A large Model A group passed us with their horns a-bleating, each one a bit different. Also a few Mercedes and many motorcycles were out enjoying the scenery. Cheers Ron
