Holy Cow what a car.. My wife and I purched a black GTI in 1983 for the mid blowing sum oof about $8900. Blue Recaros and too much fun!!!  I loved to embarass an early 70's Vette to about 70mph. By then he's crying from embarassesment .Hmmnnn, will the Recaros' fit my 77 MGB?

Thanks for the memories! I still miss my black 1983 GTI. I loved revving it up, tossing it around turns, & jousting with NYC taxis. Until one day it disappeared from in front of my apartment building. Despite my having invested in a steering wheel lock! Ah the follies of youth.

And coincidentally, Tim's own Callaway turbo GTI from the video is for sale RIGHT NOW! :)
