What are you hunting for now?

Seems like everyone has that next purchase on their radar. What's yours? I realize it's not that old, but I'd still love an E46-chassis BMW M3.

So true! For me, I'm hoping to wrap up my current 3+ year Japanese car build and get into a LBC..

I've never had a British car before, but several years ago I saw a finned Sunbeam Alpine for the first time, and it's been heavy on my mind ever since (I don't care about the Get Smart jokes or "It's a girls car"... it's got great lines and for some reason just works for me).. As is always the case, I've got to wrap up a few of the current projects before I drag one home, but it's getting closer- and my wife is softening to the idea

Volvo 122. In Ontario, finding a reasonably rust free car is akin to Unicorn hunting.

I want to meld the 122 with a Miata suspension and a 302 drive-train.

I've seen 2 Esprits on the Yahoo list come up recently that were pretty interesting: A S4s for ~18K needing paint and some interior work and a 99, I think, V8 that was repaired by Guy to better than new after a crash and dash electrical fire for 23K. I've done the Esprit thing, so I'll pass those on. Either, I think, were a bargain and I would lean to the S4s as the ultimate Esprit.
