Over there in the right column, you'll see something new.. "Yes or No".
Vote early, vote often. (well, really you can only vote once).

I voted yes, partly to offset A.R.'s "No" vote, but also because I like sports cars. A "classic sports car" should be a convertible. Otherwise to me it's a "GT" car. Come to think of it, I'd rather even have a convertible '59 Caddy than a hardtop/coupe and that ain't no sports car.
With all due respect to André and all the other tintop enthusiasts,YES!
When I got ~My '69 MGB Roadster~ earlier this year, my missus said: "You need two white roadsters??"
Actually I have three since my race-Spridget is a roadster too (but it's BRG).
I also have a fourth ('72 Midget) that she doesn't know about.
I votes yes because of the joys of driving with the top down in nice weather. Ya can't beat it. But I like the looks of a hardtop or coupe better. That's why my Spit-rod will have the steel hardtop bolted on, probably permanently. I still have the Miata to go topless in when the weather cooperates.
Well of course I'm going top opt for a hardtop.
Its rained every other day this summer.
Now, when I reach my vintage racer dream, it will most likely be an open top roadster due to my height and roll bar requirements.
But till then, I will be a coupe lover.

I voted. I have two convertibles but "better" would be better changed to preferred. There is something about an old clunker of a convertible with the top down that feels and looks much cooler than it might really be.
Cheers Ron
And don't forget, every week we'll have a new yes/no question. I can't promise that they'll always be about convertibles, however.
I didn't vote because "better" is too vague. Better at what? I've owned a few convertibles and to me they are a seperate "breed" of car, anything else seems like just a vehicle. Having said that, there are 1 or 2 cars I've owned or driven, that were not convertibles and were not available as a convertible from the factory....but did things "better" than the 'verts I owned. Example? The Porsche 914 I owned. (Though, if I bought another one, I'd be tempted to have one of those California BeachBoys Customs conversions done to the 914 that turns it into a roadster.)

New one up this week -- how many of you are rolling on "classic" rubber?
