I'm a senior instructor with Autointerests, looking to get into low-buck endurance racing next year without starting my own team. I don't fit in mosst race seats, so the car has to accommodate my massive girth. My own personal HPDE car has a Sabelt GT Pad and I fit snugly. I'm 6'2” and 350#, though most people don't believe me when I tell them my weight (I guess that makes me really dense).
Anyway, I'm Ohio based, I've got a truck, enclosed trailer, tire machine, welder and some wrench/car setup skills. I have my own set of safety equipment, so I wouldn't need to borrow anything. I'm hoping to find a team that doesn't like spending more money than they have to. I probably can't keep up with anybody named Rahal, but I am a calm, consistent driver who really doesn't want to crash into anything. I've got over 100 HPDE events under my belt, most of those in the last five years wearing an instructor shirt.
I'll travel a bit, but I refuse to get on a plane till the covid pandemic is over.
