So my wifes daily driver 02 crv has suffered whats known as "The Black Death". What happens is the ac compressor internals hand grenade, and it pumps its guts through the rest of the system. Flushing the system doesnt get the job done, you have to replace the whole shebang. I can accept that. My question that cant find an answer for is this, have they changed the design to avoid this same problem in the future, if so, what changes were made so I know Im buying the improved design?
