It's the White Zombie! I saw that car make it's world-record pass last year at PIR. Very cool. They'll be back with all of the other electric drag racers in just a few weeks.
I've seen it before but seeing how it's built is really impressive! Even with lead-acid batteries, the battery volume was low, and he couldn't have been depleting them much if it can be recharged in 20min. after a run.
-700lbs and +100HP (to 1900lbs, 400hp) on Li-Ions
Cars like that give me hope for our hobby in the future. I would love to drive/have a car with that much torque available right off the line.
