The Cruze apparently wanted a little vacation after hearing of RXgr8 being added to the fleet because as we returned from Lansing Friday night the coolant thermostat housing let go as I got off the highway.

This means it went 128,231 miles before it actually cost me money to repair! I still haven't replaced brake pads or shoes on it yet either.

The part is on intergalactic back order so I ordered an AC Delco out of California that will be here the 14th or so.

Until then the RXgr8 is rocking full coverage

But you weren't able to fix it on the side of the road with a worn silver dime and a book of matches so therefore new cars are bad and you'd be happier with a '50 Hudson.

I think thats a very common issue on Cruzes. I would say 128k is an unusually good run for that part!
