As a branch of the cordless thread, anyone have luck with a corded 12v impact? (something I can hook to the car's battery) Seems like the battery under my hood would have a much larger capacity than any hand-held.

This is highly relevant to my interests. Apart from JY use, I would expect to have a good battery around almost any time I'd want to use a cordless impact.
Not entirely relevant, but I bought a Jegs cordless impact-junk. And I've used a 120V corded impact-very good-DeWalt.
