I owned several Saab 96s and always (even now) wanted a 95. Older Saabs are so cool and funky.

I had a 1967 96 with the V4. Easy to work on, built like a tank, and made a great off-road vehicle.

That is so cool. Check out how the seats fold flat.

I should clarify, I know about the early Saabs because of the V4, I just didn't know about this 2 door wagon version. In my head they were all 4 door sedans.

The 95 was a wagon. The 96 was a coupe. The 97 was the Sonnet. I don't think Saab was making anything with 4 doors back then.

Yep, nothing 4 door until the 99 which used the inline 4 'B' engine.
