Can you get anything other than KYB GR2 struts that will fit a 96 legacy outback with the stock springs? It needs new struts, but GR2s are really pretty bad, although I guess they are (slightly) better than worn out stock ones.

The only other I have found are Monroe and Gabriel......
Kinda makes GR2's look good.
I just picked up a 97 Outback.
KYB is allegedly the oem supplier, so sort of the same thing only marginally better. The Outback is taller, thus other Legacy struts won't really work.
