I just picked one of these up local today off CL for a winter beater.Thing runs great and all the lights windows and switches work.has a bit of sway.Guy who sold it (and seemed to know what he was talking about) said it needed a rear control arm. You can push the tire and rim in and feel some slop so I think he may be on the right track. None of the in junkyards around here so I thought I would check here to see if anyone is parting one out or has a good site or hookup for parts. As always, thanks for any and all help.

These MAY be based off of a jeep platform for the diamler-chrysler days. I know some did share but which ones and year is beyond me.

Only the latest generation Grand Cherokee has anything to do with a M-B platform.

I've always liked eeuroparts.com for Euro stuff. Didn't Pelican recently buy a Benz parts house too?

Try car-part.com to see if there's any near you. A quick search of the Southeast shows 2 pages, prices ranging from $45 up.

Those were also famous for breaking rear springs which are only available as an assembly with the shock. They are a M-B only platform, for which we should all breathe a sigh of relief.
