I think that I am going to be buying one of these in the next 6 months as a winter DD/family truckster/tow vehicle/race support vehicle. Ive considered a V8 4Runner or a Lexus GX470, but the Sequoia seems to be the best value of the bunch for what I need it to do. It seems I can get a 2005 - 2007 model with more power coming out of the 4.7L for about $12-14k. My only real concern is the relatively low tow rating for a truck of this size, although I will only be towing with it a few times a year.

From lurking on these boards and using the search, I know they have been discussed on here a few times and a few people have them. What should I look out for other than the timing belt on the V8? How well will it tow 5000 lbs? Any mods I should do to it to help it tow that much weight? Any advice or other tidbits about this truck will be appreciated.

I just joined TundraSolutions.com and will be keeping an eye for info on them over there as well.
